Legal and safety

Plain-language Alpha baseline.

These notes describe the current rules and data practices for the 3JS Games Alpha. They are not a claim of legal completeness and may be updated before wider launch.

Terms of use

  • Use the service lawfully and do not attack, disrupt, scrape abusively, or evade safeguards
  • You retain ownership of your game and grant 3JS permission to host, scan, display, and deliver it through the service
  • Alpha features and availability may change; keep your own backups of every build and asset

Privacy overview

  • Account providers may supply an identifier, email, display name, and avatar
  • Basic plays, page events, security logs, and technical diagnostics may be recorded
  • Public profile fields, published games, comments, and likes are visible by design
  • Contact the operator for access, correction, or deletion requests; some security records may need to be retained

Safety basics

  • Uploads are checked for size, unsafe paths, blocked files, and suspicious static patterns
  • Games run in constrained, sandboxed frames with a restrictive capability allow-list
  • Automated scanning reduces risk but cannot guarantee that every build is harmless

Content and moderation

  • Do not upload illegal, infringing, malicious, deceptive, hateful, exploitative, or privacy-invasive content
  • 3JS may remove content or restrict accounts to protect people, the platform, or legal compliance
  • Report concerns through the contact section with the game URL and a concise description; do not repost harmful material

Data and storage

Game builds, thumbnails, profiles, community activity, and operational records are stored to provide the service. Do not place secrets or unnecessary personal information in uploads. Retention and infrastructure may evolve during Alpha.
